Have you already heard about the fantastic cycle path network in South Tyrol? The bike paths in South Tyrol are as varied as its landscape and so both mountain bikers and racing cyclists as well as pleasure cyclists will find routes that suit their taste. Furthermore, many hours of sunshine, pleasant temperatures and a wonderful landscape await passionate cyclists in this region. All this has made South Tyrol a popular destination for bikers.

Bike trails for all skill levels

In South Tyrol's valleys there are numerous bike paths, which are particularly suitable for beginners, families and pleasure cyclists. For example, the Via Claudia Augusta cycle touring route leads from the Reschen Pass to Merano and optionally to Verona or to Lake Garda or the Drau cycle path from Dobbiaco/Toblach to Lienz in East Tyrol. On the way, restaurants and traditional wine taverns invite you to a cosy stop.

Fit cyclists, on the other hand, can take part in the Dolomiti Superbike or Sellaronda Bike Day, try the 120-kilometre mountain bike route on the Stoneman Trail or dare to cross the Alps on their bike. Freeriders can let off steam on the 8 km long Freeride Trail in Plan de Corones/Kronplatz in the Pustertal/Val Pusteria.

Discover the Dolomites by mountain bike, conquer a pass by racing bike or follow one of the countless cycle paths by e-bike - there is something for every taste and difficulty level in South Tyrol!
