Pfatten / Vadena

The municipality of Pfatten/Vadena is located in southern South Tyrol, only a few kilometres from the provincial capital of Bozen/Bolzano. It is situated on the Wine Road (Südtiroler Weinstraße), in the middle of apple trees and forests, and has a Mediterranean flair. Also, the eastern side of the popular Lake Caldaro (Kalterer See) borders on the municipality. Thanks to the moderate climate, Pfatten is worth a visit, especially in spring, when nature starts to wake up earlier than in other parts of South Tyrol. This area is particularly beautiful when the apple trees are in blossom.
